Movies            TITANIC

2012 brought the 100th anniversary of the  sinking of Titanic as well as many ways to commemorate the landmark event. Here are some of the ways the Characters were out doing so in

Movie Replica Dresses

(5 in all):

The Boarding Dress

The coat and skirt of the Boarding dress were made by another dressmaker for Kristina; the rest of the dress and accessories were made by Kristina

The Lunch Dress

This dress was made from scratch with no pattern from vintage materials by Kristina

The Jump Dress

Made by Kristina by reconstructing and adding to another dress

The Swim Dress

The Swim Dress was started 15 years prior and remained a pile of fabric, pattern 1/2 cut out, until completed the night before seeing Titanic's re-release in 3-D and worn to the theater (top photo).

The Flying Dress

Timeless: The Music You Remember

A couple events with their band Timeless at a dinner party ( lower right) and a restaurant (below) with all Titanic music

You sunk my book!

Right before going on stage the trumpet player spilled his icewater all over the songbook- eerie!

    Aboard the Queen Mary

Many might not know that the Queen Mary docked in Long Beach, CA was built with the Titanic in mind in the 1930's. That is why it was the perfect setting for a 100th Anniversary for people all over the country! People stopped and asked to have their photo with the costumed Characters and one family went so far as to say, "Seeing them made the trip!"

The San Diego Natural History Museum

also had a 100th Artifact Exibit they came in Titanic fashions to:

     tongues stuck to the iceberg

this exhibit now permanently resides in Buena Park, CA

    Timeless: The Music You Remember

Timeless still does a "Titanic Set" of music from the ship's songbook in some of thier gigs
