About

The members of Characters in Character are a multi-talented family of 6 living in Georgia; previously relocated from Southern California. They sing, act, dance, play instruments, as well as a variety of other talents. They specialize in Living History at large events.

Kristina

Kristina is the creative force behind the Characters. She has a Bachelor's in Music studying at 2 of Arizona's Universities and graduating Summa Cum Laude in Music (both Voice and Instrumental), Drama, Dance, Costuming, History and also has a K-12 Teaching credential. She comes up with most of the artistic concepts for the events they are invited to and then choreographs, coaches, and makes the costumes. Kristina is a professional vocalist she has done professional theater, a couple music vidoes and has taught K-12 music in the public schools on and off for the past 25 years. Being at the largest Elementary school in the state of AZ (2000 students in 1999/2000), as well as being a life-long Girl Scout, were the beginnings of what has evolved into teaching on a grand scale and experiencing topics through many disciplines. Kristina loves Dancing with the Stars and has been to many show tapings. She also enjoys twirling fire batons, archery, stage combat, and is a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader. She is active in Daughters of the American Revolution (formerly Luiseno Chapter in Temecula, CA and currently Kennesaw Mountain Chapter in Kennesaw, GA) ,and Children of the American Revultion as well as assisting Sons of the American Revoultion. She can trace her lineage back to several patriots and also to the Mayflower.

Wade

Wade earned a BSBA degree from the University of Arizona, majoring in Computer Information Systems and almost a triple major including Finance and Religious Studies. He has most of a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA, and is currently in a Master of Business program at University of Texas. He is also a cancer survivor and is a data specialist for Kaiser Permanente Medical group servicing their IT on a national level.  He is a great sport, is great with the kids and also enjoys teaching (he was a high school AP Calculus tutor), graduated Salutatorian of his High School and Magma Cum Laude from the University of Arizona. He and Kristina have been married 25+years. He was the former Cubmaster of Menifee's Cub Scout Pack, was Cubmaster of the year (2018), and earned the Unit of Merit Award (2019). He is also a member of the Son's of the American Revolution and can trace his roots back as well. Interstingly enough, one whole side of his patriot family resided in Georgia. Wade and family recently relocated to Georgia with Kaiser from California.

His middle name, Aquillo, means Northwind in Latin.

All the children have middle names of either Rose or Thorne completing the Compass Rose in both name and directions!
